Description
The Speedline Sealed Bearing Integrated Headsets are some of the best on the market. Designed for the "Campy®" style of Integrated head tubes, these are available in 3 popular sizes.
1" Mini Headsets: Typically used on Micro, Mini, Junior, Expert, or Any Campy Style Integrated Frame you wish to use a 1" Fork and Stem on.
1 1/8" Pro Headsets: Typically used on Expert XL, Expert XXL, and older style Pro Frames.
1 1/8" - 1.5" Pro Tapered Headsets: Typically used on Pro size and Larger Frames with Tapered Head Tubes. They can be used with 1.5" or 1 1/8" forks. An adapter for 1 1/8" is included with your purchase.
We start with high-grade steel ACB (Angular Contact Bearing) sealed bearings which feature precision ground-hardened steel balls. What does that mean to you? Probably not much. But know that these bearings will last a long time thanks to this seemingly minor design choice!
We add on a quality CNC'd Aluminum top cap, followed by a thin rubber dust seal to maintain the life of the bearings. The Bottom Aluminum race is split to allow easy installation and removal without any tools!
The 1 1/8" - 1.5" Taper comes with 2 ( two ) bottom races to fit both the 1 1/8" Fork and the 1.5" Fork so that you can use either fork.
