Wheel Tools

Get a set of bike wheel repair tools before you go on your first real ride. You will need a tire lever, for bike work and a bicycle tire removal tool. These tools are not expensive, they are just necessary. If you get a tire at the wrong time it can ruin your whole ride. 

When you have your tools, learning how to change a bike wheel is not so hard. You take off the axle nuts, use your tire lever to get the tire off the rim, pull out the tube, fix it and then put everything back on. Try practicing in your driveway.
